Lack of updates

I apologize for the lack of updates. I have been planning a trip out of town and have been working on a few other things. I should hopefully have some more zombie stuff posted shortly, stay tuned.

GTA 4 ZOMBIE MODS

Even though these mods have been out for ages, and I have owned this game from the get go, this is the first I have seen of zombie mods for GTA 4. See the video below for a peek at some game play.

Hellgate London, back again and now free!

For those that don't know Hellgate London was a game released several years ago that shut down after a rough start.

It has been released again under a new publisher and now its free to play. I deeply enjoyed the game when it first came out and am excited it has come out again. Check it out and start killing those zombies and demons.

The importance of being fit

Will you survive when a zombie outbreak happens? What is more important, being able shoot down zombies, or being able to outrun them? Personally I think Being able to outrun the zombies is more important. More than likely there will be 100 to 1 in their favor, how long can your guns keep you safe?

A upcoming game I've never heard of.

This game actually came up as a surprise. First I've heard of it and it actually looks pretty fun. Its got some interesting gimmicks behind it, hopefully it is as fun as it looks. Check out the link below.

Upcoming Game Dead Island

Here's the trailer to a upcoming game I can't wait to play. Its called Dead Island. Although it appears to closely follow left 4 dead game play, it still looks amazing.

Infector World Domination

Today's little master piece of a game is Called Infector World Domination. Basically you infect towns,and in turn your zombies kill and infect people creating more. They have a certain amount of time they are alive so if they are to slow or die you have to try again.

Dead Frontier Outpost attack

A quick defense video for the game Dead Frontier. Nothing fancy here, just some zombie killing. The game is the only zombie MMO i know of at this time. Its free to play but there are some perks for subbing.

Fun little zombie game I found. Can play from browser, has alot of options and lots of killing. Free to play, great for killing some time.

Killing Floor

Killing floor puts you with a group of survivors against waves of more and more difficult zombies. This is just a quick video of what happens when you increase the player cap from 6 to 35, and zombie cap to max. If you interested in this game, purchase it from steam. This is one of those games that only gets better with time.

Steam

One of the easiest ways to get started with zombie games is by downloading STEAM. It is free to download, however you pay for retail games through it.

The reason I suggest getting it is because

1. It makes it easy to search for games, and find communities for that game.
2. It has sales on a regular basis on its games for up to 90% off.

I personally buy all my games through it. My next post will be on a game I purchased through steam for only 5$. If you have steam, leave your gamer ID in the comments and I will add you.

Fast or Slow?

Me and my fiancee had a deep conversation once about whether true zombies would be fast (as in the newest dawn of the dead) or slow (as in old night of the living dead).


Personally I would like to believe they would be slow. One of the fascinations I have with zombies is the "what if" factor. The slow zombies I see in movies give me the impression there really would be a chance to survive. However the zombies that are super fast, almost impossible to kill, and in some cases even smart, there would not be a chance to survive.

Any other views on this?

This is my first of many posts to try and convince you all about the greatness of all things zombie. Gaming, movies, real life, it will all have its place. There is something about these walking corpses that just reeks of awesomeness.
